Preservation

Do you have a new fence that you recently installed? This is the best time to preserve your new fence.
Getting your fence treated when it is new will add years of life to your fence. Preservation of a new
fence is a quick procedure and usually can be done in a day with most fences.

Preserving your new construction and regularly maintaining it will keep it looking as new as the day it was installed and will extend the life of the wood.

Restoration

Most old fences can be restored. When many people see an old, unsightly fence, their
first reaction is to replace the whole thing. This results in high cost, waste and time.
Replacing a wood fence is extremely costly. Even if you choose more affordable products the
costs still add up quickly. Restoring a wood fence costs a fraction of what you would spend on a new fence.
Replacing a wood fence makes a lot of waste. Not only is it a lot of waste, it is a lot of wasted product.
This also drives up costs by being charged for disposal of wood waste.
The time spent replacing a fence can take weeks to complete. With Good Lookin’ Fence Restoration,
most fence projects can be completed within 1 to 3 days.

Above are some before and after pictures of a restoration project. You can see the fence before the restoration, after a good cleaning, and after a complete restoration.

Repair

As a part of our restoration process, we inspect fence boards, posts, gates and any other part of your fence.
Instead of replacing an entire fence, we will fix or replace only the parts that are no longer in working or safe condition.

What happens if I do not treat my fence or other structure?

Delaying the preservation process can quickly shed years of life from your fence. Within a season your new fence
will quickly go from beautiful new to weathered and old looking. Within a few seasons your nice new fence will be
completely grey. At this point, layers of old dead wood must be stripped away to reveal the still nice looking wood.

This grey fence was never preserved after installation, but still has a chance at life with restoration.
